What this app is

TopCGref Publisher is a private tool used by the owner of the Instagram account @topcgref to publish curated computer-graphics (CG) and architectural visualization references to the owner's own accounts — Instagram, Pinterest and a Telegram channel. Every repost credits its author ("CG by @author") and keeps the author's original text. Pins on Pinterest link back to the post on Instagram. The app is not offered to the public: it has a single user, the account owner, behind a password-protected panel.

What data the app accesses

When the owner connects an account (Instagram or Pinterest), the app receives an access token through the platform's official sign-in (OAuth) and basic account information: username, account ID and, for Pinterest, the list of the owner's boards. With that access the app only:

• publishes the posts and Pins the owner has approved — to the owner's own account and boards;
• reads the owner's boards to choose the board Pins go to, and creates that board if it doesn't exist;
• reads the public link of the owner's own published Instagram posts, so a Pin can point to it.

What the app does not do

• It does not access other people's accounts, private messages, followers or contacts.
• It does not collect data about visitors of this site and uses no tracking or advertising cookies (the only cookie is the owner's login session for the panel).
• It does not sell, rent or share any data with anyone, and does not use it for advertising.

Storage and security

Access tokens are stored on the app's server in the EU (Germany) and are available only to the owner; all connections use HTTPS. Images and videos of published posts are kept on the server so the platforms can fetch them for publishing.

Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept while an account stays connected and are discarded when the owner disconnects it. Anyone can revoke the app's access at any time in the platform's settings — on Pinterest: Settings → Security and logins → Apps; on Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites.
